If you’re considering a Royal ONE or Royal ONE Plus credit card for an upcoming Royal Caribbean cruise, timing matters more than you might think. You don’t have to use the card for your original deposit to benefit from it later. You may still have your cruise balance, internet, dining, excursions and other Royal Caribbean purchases ahead of you, and those purchases can help you earn Royal ONE points. The Royal ONE Plus currently earns 4 points per dollar on eligible Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Silversea purchases, 2 points per dollar on categories like airfare, hotels, dining, groceries and gas, and 1 point per dollar on other purchases. I still use other points and miles cards when they give me a better return in a specific category. My goal is to make the spending we’re already doing earn the most useful rewards for future travel. If you’re considering the Royal ONE card for an upcoming cruise, I’d give yourself enough time to receive it and use it for the cruise spending you already have coming up. And as always, this only makes sense if you can pay your statement balance in full every month. #RoyalCaribbean #RoyalONE #PointsAndMiles #CruiseTips #TravelRewards
