Can I watch my NFL team on my cruise? #shorts

🏈🚢 WILL YOU BE ABLE TO WATCH YOUR FAVORITE NFL GAME ON YOUR CRUISE? The answer is…it depends! You booked your cruise months ago, and now NFL season is here. Your favorite team has a huge game on Sunday, Monday Night Football is coming up, or maybe there’s a playoff game you absolutely don’t want to miss. So, can you watch NFL football while you’re cruising in the middle of the ocean? Usually, you’ll have SOME options—but don’t assume your specific game will be available. Many cruise ships show major sporting events in sports bars, lounges, casinos, poolside screens or even inside your cabin. Big nationally televised games, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football and playoff games may have a better chance of being shown. But cruise lines don’t necessarily carry every local CBS or FOX broadcast you would receive at home. Your ship’s location can matter, too. Television programming and broadcast rights can vary depending on where the ship is sailing. Another option is streaming your game using the ship’s Wi-Fi. Cruise ship internet has improved dramatically, especially on ships equipped with newer satellite technology. But purchasing an internet package doesn’t guarantee your streaming service will work. Bandwidth, geographic restrictions, blackout rules and streaming-service policies can all become factors. My advice? If watching a particular NFL game is REALLY important, check with the cruise line before sailing—but understand programming can still change. Once onboard, check the daily schedule, cruise line app and sports bar. You can also ask Guest Services or the bartender whether your game will be available. And remember: you’re on a cruise! If your game isn’t available, put the phone away, grab something to eat, head to the pool and enjoy the ship. You can always check the score later. Have YOU ever tried watching your favorite NFL team while cruising? Were you able to find the game?
