We visited Ischia expecting a quiet island day… but honestly, this place completely surprised us 🇮🇹 Could Ischia actually be better than Capri? Hey everyone, it’s Steve (Stick Man Steve), and welcome back to our Sorrento series! Today we’re taking the ferry from Sorrento across to the beautiful island of Ischia — and wow… this ended up becoming one of our favourite days of the entire holiday. Maria delle Grazie • Bar del Porto dal 1963 🍺 • Evening meal back at Hotel Caravel 💡 Travel Tips: • Book ferry tickets early using Ferryhopper • There’s only one ferry each way daily from Sorrento • Take LOTS of water 💧 • Wear comfortable footwear for Aragonese Castle • Use the free lift inside the castle if needed • Visit Bar Il Terrazzo for incredible views ❤️ Our Honest Thoughts: We absolutely loved Ischia. Honestly… we preferred it to Capri. It felt quieter, more authentic and far more relaxed. Most of the time we felt like we had the castle almost to ourselves. And the food at CalaCala? Probably one of the best meals we had during the entire holiday.
