Join us as we begin our 7-night Mediterranean cruise aboard Princess Cruises’ Enchanted Princess! This cruise took us round trip from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Naples, Santorini, Kusadasi, and Katakolon before returning to Rome. This is a little different from our typical cruise review. Rather than simply checking off the ship's features and giving you a final rating, we're taking you along with us as we experienced the cruise day by day—sharing what we loved, what surprised us, and a few things that definitely didn't go as planned. We arrived in Rome a couple of nights before the cruise and spent time exploring the city on our own before visiting the Colosseum with the highly sought-after Underground tour. From there, we made our way by train to Civitavecchia and boarded Enchanted Princess. Once onboard, we settled into our D4 Premium Deluxe Balcony cabin with an aft-facing balcony, explored the ship, and enjoyed some fantastic specialty dining. Our first port was Naples, where we chose to experience the city through a local food tour rather than a cruise-sponsored excursion. Then came our first sea day—and our first real opportunity to settle into life aboard Enchanted Princess. But when we arrived in Santorini, things took an unexpected turn.
