We Stayed in a B&B on a Venice Canal… Here’s What It Was Like
We stayed in a B&B right on a canal in Venice, Italy — and our room came with a pretty incredible view! After arriving in Venice, we took our first vaporetto (water bus) and made our way through the narrow alleys and bridges to our B&B. We stayed for 3 nights, and in this video we're taking you along for a look at our Venetian accommodation and what it was really like staying right on a canal. Our corner room overlooked a canal that wasn't the Grand Canal, but it turned out to be a fantastic location for watching Venice go by. We show you the room, the breakfast that was provided, and some of the unique sights we experienced right outside our window — including a gondola traffic jam! 🛶 And then things got even more Venetian when one of the gondolas came through with an accordion player and a singer serenading the passengers. It was one of those unexpected travel moments that you simply can't plan.
