We finally explored Sorrento properly… and WOW 😳🇮🇹 This is what your first day here could really look like. This was our first full day… and honestly, it exceeded everything we expected. 📍 In this vlog: • Breakfast at Hotel Caravel 🍽️ • Free shuttle into Sorrento (game changer!) • Piazza Tasso & that famous viewpoint • Sorrento viewpoints overlooking the marina • Finding the lift down to Sorrento Marina • Hidden peaceful spot near Chiostro di San Francesco 🌿 • Walk along the beach & marina • Lunch at Ristorante Ruccio (right on the water 🍕🍝) • Quick visit inside Chiostro di San Francesco • Pool time back at the hotel (much needed in 36°C!) • Evening meal at “Il Fiocco” (4 courses again!) • Relaxing night in the hotel garden 🍷 💡 Travel Tips: • Use the free Hotel Caravel shuttle — every 30 mins • Sant’Agnello = quieter, better value, still close to Sorrento • The lift to the marina is €2 return — saves your legs! • Take mosquito spray — trust me 😅 • Visit early or late to avoid crowds at Piazza Tasso ❤️ Our Honest Thoughts: Sorrento genuinely surprised us… it’s even more beautiful in real life. We also stumbled across a hidden little park near Chiostro di San Francesco — completely quiet, birds singing, not another person around… moments like that make a trip. And that shuttle bus? One of the best perks we’ve ever had at a hotel.
