MSC World America Cruise Boarding Day - Miami Sailaway, First Impressions & Day 1 Highlights
It’s Boarding Day on MSC World America and our Miami cruise adventure begins the moment we arrive at the terminal. We take you with us through security, onto the ship, and straight to our muster station before stepping into the jaw‑dropping World Promenade for the very first time. From there, we try to get our specialty dining sorted — although the App had other ideas — and enjoy some beautiful views over Miami from the aft before grabbing lunch at Il Mercato. The afternoon is all about exploring and getting set up for the fun ahead. We register for the Harbour activities including Cliffhanger, Jaw Drop and the Adventure Trail, watch the other cruise ships sail out of port, and then join a perfect blue‑sky sailaway party led by the incredible cruise director, Dr E. As evening arrives, we head to our first dinner in the Main Dining Room at Bubbles and share our honest thoughts on the food and service. The night doesn’t slow down. We take in the spectacular illusionist show Momentous in the World Theatre — the finale has to be seen to be believed — before heading to the Miami Nights party in Luna Park Arena. We also discover the best Gin & Tonic ever at The Gin Project, pop into Duelling Pianos at The Loft, and finish the night with a relaxed drink at the Dolce Vita bar.
