Bucket List Cruise to Glacier Bay did not disappoint! (MV Escapade) - 4K
In this episode we spend four unforgettable days and three nights exploring the incredible wilderness of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in Southeast Alaska aboard our Nordhavn 47 trawler. Cruising deep into one of Alaska’s most remote and spectacular national parks on our own boat, we anchor in three different locations while experiencing nonstop scenery and unforgettable wildlife encounters along the way. Over the course of our Glacier Bay adventure, we encounter towering glaciers, dramatic fjords, mountain goats clinging to steep cliffs, massive rookeries of Steller sea lions, sea otters drifting through kelp beds, puffins, bald eagles, and countless seabirds covering the rocky shoreline. We spend hours cruising through Glacier Bay’s vast wilderness, surrounded by snow-covered peaks, ancient ice, and scenery unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before. From peaceful remote anchorages to incredible wildlife sightings, this quickly became one of the highlights of our Alaska cruising adventure aboard Escapade. If you enjoy trawler life, wildlife encounters, remote anchorages, and boating through Alaska’s Inside Passage, be sure to subscribe and follow along as we continue our journey north through Southeast Alaska.
