My First Cunard Sea Day & Gala Evening DIDN'T Go to Plan! | Queen Victoria Cruise
It's time for my first ever Cunard sea day aboard Queen Victoria and I'm discovering what Cunard is like when there isn't a port to explore. I start the day with breakfast before heading to the Welcome Aboard event for new Cunard passengers. And things get off to a surprisingly good start when I actually WIN the raffle! With plenty of time to explore, I continue discovering Queen Victoria and take part in some of the activities and entertainment happening around the ship. But then comes some disappointing news... The Captain announces that, because of the bad weather forecast, we'll be missing a port later in the cruise and it's one I was particularly looking forward to visiting. Then it's time for my first Cunard Gala Evening. I get dressed up in my suit, head to the Britannia Dining Room for my Gala Dinner and prepare to experience one of Cunard's more traditional cruise traditions... Let's just say the dinner doesn't quite go to plan either! Despite all the drama, I enjoy my first Cunard sea day and get a much better idea of how a Cunard cruise compares to the other cruise lines I've experienced.
