Florence from Livorno! Exploring My Favourite City in 40°C Heat! | Queen Victoria Cruise
It's my first port of call on Queen Victoria, and today I'm visiting Livorno, Italy but rather than staying in Livorno, I'm heading off on a trip to one of my favourite cities in Europe: Florence! With temperatures approaching 40°C, exploring Florence is certainly going to be a challenge! I take the coach transfer from Livorno to Florence and set off to explore this incredible Italian city although finding some shade quickly becomes a priority! 😂 I'll visit some of Florence's most famous sights, including the spectacular Florence Cathedral (Duomo) and the iconic Ponte Vecchio, wander through the historic streets and, of course, stop for some delicious Italian food along the way. After a hot but fantastic day exploring Florence, it's back to Queen Victoria where I experience my first Cunard dining experience in the main dining room, before enjoying an evening show and watching the ship sail away from Italy.
