Cruise Luggage Nightmare on the MSC Seashore
Here is my recent nightmare on the MSC Seashore regarding luggage. I've cruised over 100 days on Holland America Line, 75 on Carnival, many days on NCL, MSC, Virgin Voyages, Celebrity, you name it. On my recent MSC Seashore #cruise, I arrived at the cruise port at 3 p.m., period. I had two medium-sized bags that had the clear luggage tags firmly attached to them. One of the bags was delivered to the cabin later on in the day, however, one bag did not arrive, period. I looked at my daily planner and it said to call guest services at 8 p.m., dialing 9-9 on my phone if the luggage had not arrived. I did not call, I actually went down there, period. I talked to the lady behind the desk and she said, she just had basically a blank stare, and then a fellow cruise passenger behind me said, sir, there is an area over here across the atrium by the future cruise desk that has a place for lost or confiscated bags. I recently posted about this on the MSC Seashore Facebook group and got a lot of backlash saying I was a Karen! The only reason I'm saying this is to let MSC know, to let their passengers know that if they have a missing bag, they need to come down there to the atrium next to the future cruise desk and get their lost bag instead of waiting until 8 o'clock and calling 99 I enjoy MSC, I enjoy the #MSCSeashore, but this is no way to start off a cruise vacation by having a missing bag and then searching high and low or trying to find out where to get it.
