😱 We Thought Scarefest Was Ruined… Then It Became AMAZING! 🎢🎃 | Alton Towers Scarefest 2026 After a five-year break from Alton Towers Scarefest, we’re finally back! Join us for our return to Alton Towers Scarefest 2026 as we experience the rides, Halloween decorations, spooky entertainment and everything this year’s event has to offer. We arrive bright and early to soak up the opening atmosphere, but things don’t exactly get off to the best start. Our plan was simple: head straight to Nemesis Reborn. Unfortunately, a technical fault had other ideas! To make matters worse, Galactica was also closed, leaving us wondering if the day was about to be a complete disaster. Thankfully, the Runaway Mine Train came to the rescue and got us on our first ride of the day before we explored the park and took in all the amazing Scarefest decorations, entertainment and spooky characters roaming the streets. 🎃 EDGE OF THE FOREST: THE SURPRISE HIGHLIGHT! One of the biggest highlights of our entire visit was Edge of the Forest. This upcharge Scarefest experience completely exceeded our expectations and ended up being one of the best attractions of the whole day. If you’re planning a visit to Alton Towers Scarefest, this might just be the experience you don’t want to miss! 🎢 THE RIDES, FOOD & AFTER-DARK ATMOSPHERE Throughout the day, we experience some of Alton Towers’ biggest attractions, including Th13teen, Oblivion, Rita, Wicker Man, Galactica and Nemesis Reborn, before taking on a night-time ride on The Smiler in the dark! Along the way, we enjoy a fantastic lunch at the Argentinian steak restaurant, sample an eye-wateringly expensive ice cream, finally get our hands on the famous donuts we’ve been looking forward to all day, and share our honest thoughts on some of the park’s attractions. As darkness falls, Alton Towers transforms with stunning lighting, spooky atmosphere and a completely different feel from the daytime experience.
