🇳🇴 Our first port of call on our Norwegian Fjords cruise aboard P&O Iona is the beautiful city of Stavanger! We sail into Stavanger early in the morning and are treated to one of the prettiest sail-ins we've ever experienced. The small white houses dotted around the harbour create a stunning setting as we arrive in port. Unfortunately, the Norwegian weather has other plans and the rain is absolutely relentless from the moment we arrive! ☔ In this vlog we: ✅ Sail into the beautiful port of Stavanger ✅ Enjoy an excellent breakfast in the Main Dining Room ✅ Head ashore despite the pouring rain ✅ Stop at 7-Eleven where Stephen picks up a giant King Size Japp 🍫 ✅ Attempt to explore Stavanger on foot ✅ Escape the weather in our favourite Stavanger pub, The Proud Mary 🍻 ✅ Experience Norway's eye-watering prices with £32 for just two beers! 😱 ✅ Somehow end up having four pints before returning to the ship 😂 ✅ Queue to get back onboard P&O Iona ✅ Try The Glass House for the first time and absolutely love it 🍽️ ✅ Enjoy a surprise performance from the onboard Gospel Choir during lunch 🎶 ✅ Share one of our favourite moments from the entire cruise ✅ Dine at The Beach House in the evening 🌮 ✅ Get involved in Race Night at The Clubhouse 🏇 ✅ Win £9 and immediately put it into the casino! 🎰 Despite the weather doing its best to spoil our plans, Stavanger still managed to charm us, and the unexpected moments onboard ended up making this one of our favourite days of the cruise.
