THIS Was the Highlight of Our Entire Cruise! 🤩 | Olden & Limelight Club on P&O Iona Today we're visiting one of our favourite ports anywhere in the Norwegian Fjords... Olden! We begin the day with breakfast in the Pearl Restaurant before spending some time exploring the ship, including a visit to Anderson's and the library. We also make our way up to the top deck for the first time on this cruise to take in the incredible views as we arrive in port. Once ashore, we head to our favourite photo spot in Olden to capture one of our favourite cruise pictures with P&O Iona in the background. Unfortunately, the weather soon takes a turn, and the rain begins to fall. After a visit to the local supermarket for Norwegian crisps and chocolate, we find shelter in a small hut and enjoy our snacks while watching the rain get heavier and heavier. With the weather showing no signs of improving, we head back onboard and decide to try lunch at Olive Grove. Sadly, this one doesn't quite hit the mark for us, with average food and service that left us a little disappointed. The afternoon is saved by a fantastic sail away from Olden, complete with entertaining performances from the shore side that had the whole ship smiling and waving as we departed one of Norway's most beautiful locations. But the real star of today's vlog is the evening! We head to the Limelight Club for the first time, enjoying a three-course meal while being entertained by Sharlene Hector, the incredible vocalist known for her work with Basement Jaxx and her starring role in the West End production of Hercules. What follows is easily our favourite evening of the entire cruise. Fantastic food, amazing entertainment and an atmosphere that exceeded all our expectations. A genuine 10/10 experience and something we'd highly recommend to anyone sailing on P&O Iona. We finish the night with a visit to the SkyDome for Country Night before calling it a day after one of the most memorable days of our Norwegian Fjords adventure.
