We said NEVER AGAIN...But we're back on P&O Iona I Embarkation Day
🚢 P&O Iona Norwegian Fjords Cruise 2026 | Embarkation Day! 🇳🇴 Welcome to the first vlog of our Norwegian Fjords cruise aboard P&O Iona! This cruise is a little different because after our last sailing on Iona, we actually said we'd never sail on her again... but we decided to give the ship another chance and see if our opinion had changed! Our adventure starts in Sheffield as we make the journey down to Southampton in our brand-new Tesla. This was our first long-distance trip in an EV, so join us as we navigate charging stops and make our way south before arriving at the Ocean Terminal around 2pm. Embarkation couldn't have been easier. Within 30 minutes we were onboard and heading straight to our cabin, 9303, to have a look around and get unpacked for the week ahead. Of course, no cruise starts properly without a visit to the bar! 🍻 We headed down to the Emerald Bar where a few drinks quickly turned into several drinks. Before we knew it, we were feeling a little worse for wear, singing, dancing and having an absolute blast before we'd even got ready for the evening! After eventually pulling ourselves together, we met up with friends and family for dinner in the Coral Main Dining Room. With a table of 10, plenty of laughs and a fantastic first meal of the cruise, it was the perfect way to start our holiday. The only problem? We may have got a little too enthusiastic with the drinks package... 😅 After a very fun first day onboard, we were tucked up in bed by around 10pm because we were absolutely exhausted (and, let's be honest, very drunk!).
