Royal Caribbean emailed select guests on Allure of the Seas' six-night Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) on Sept. 27, asking if their plans were flexible. Guests could move to the identical Oct. 11 sailing and get their Sept. 27 cruise fare refunded, or cancel for a full refund plus a future cruise credit worth 100% of the fare, with nonrefundable flights and hotels reimbursed either way. The line didn't say why, but offers like this usually point to an overbooked sailing; similar offers went out for Utopia and Voyager of the Seas' Sept. 4 sailings.
