Welcome back to Travels With Dani & Paul! It's Day 6 aboard Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas, and we've reached our final port of the cruise — La Coruña, Spain! 🇪🇸 With Liberty of the Seas docking right in the heart of the city, we decided to skip an organised excursion and see just how much of La Coruña we could explore independently on foot. What started as a fairly innocent wander somehow turned into an 8km walk in just under two hours! 😂 We make our way through the city to Plaza de María Pita, discover the wonderfully unusual Square of Humour, and continue along the coast towards one of La Coruña's most famous landmarks — the Tower of Hercules. From there, our apparently never-ending walk takes us around more of La Coruña's coastline and past Castelo de San Antón, before we eventually make our way back towards Liberty of the Seas. Along the way, we show you just how easy La Coruña cruise port is to explore independently, share what we discover around the city and find out that the cloudy-looking Spanish weather was considerably warmer than either of us expected! Back onboard, there's still plenty more to come. After recovering from our 8km adventure, we spend some time relaxing around the Solarium and pool before getting ready for the evening. We watch Royal Caribbean's production of Saturday Night Fever, enjoy another meal in the Main Dining Room and finish the night at the Brit Rock Party in the Royal Promenade. And with our final port behind us, there's an increasingly unpleasant realisation...
