Was the DVC Member Cruise Worth It? 🚢 Our Final Day on Disney Dream

Our Disney Dream DVC Member Cruise is coming to an end — but there's a LOT still to fit into our final day at sea! 🚢 We start with what should have been one of the highlights of the cruise: Palo Brunch. Unfortunately, this turns into the worst Palo experience we've personally had, with extremely slow service, disappointing food and problems accommodating our friend's dietary requirements. From there, things get considerably better as we meet Disney Legend Bob Weis and get our copy of Dream Chasing personally signed. Despite a VERY long wait, Bob takes his time with everyone and we even get to chat with him about getting married aboard Disney Wish. Our final sea day also includes another packed DVC presentation featuring Tony Baxter, Bret Iwan and Paige O'Hara, where Tony somehow develops an entire Disney attraction concept in around 20 minutes! Of course, there are still more DVC Member Cruise gifts to open, including an amenity kit, luggage tags and noise-reduction earplugs, before we head up on deck for the rescheduled Halloween party. We also explain Disney Cruise Line's luggage and Express Walk-Off disembarkation process, say goodbye to the characters at See Ya Real Soon, and somehow attempt to pack everything we've accumulated during this Member Cruise. The following morning, we're off Disney Dream bright and early in Southampton before heading home and laying out EVERYTHING we received on the DVC Member Cruise. And there's rather a lot of it. 😂 We finish the series with our initial thoughts on the experience. The exclusive DVC entertainment and gifts have been fantastic, although unfortunately some other elements of this particular Disney Dream sailing haven't lived up to our previous experiences.
