Looking for a hotel in Southampton? Here’s my honest review of The Star Hotel Southampton after staying there in April 2026. I stayed at The Star Hotel having booked a single room, but was given a room with a small double bed instead. The hotel itself is dated, but perfectly functional and comfortable for a short stay. However, there was one major issue… damp and mould which unfortunately hard to ignore. This is my honest review of the hotel based on my stay, covering the good and the not-so-good.
