An Unexpected Extra Day in Getxo & Bilbao… Here’s What I Did! | P&O Iona Spain & France Cruise
After a last-minute itinerary change, we get an unexpected second day here giving us even more time to explore! We arrive into Getxo on a beautiful sunny morning and head straight for the metro into Bilbao My first stop is the iconic Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, followed by a wander through the city and its historic old town. On day two, I return to Bilbao to ride the Artxanda Funicular with incredible views over the city, before a relaxing walk along the river in the sunshine Back onboard, there’s great food, sailaway… and finally some good news, my cabin issues are resolved and I’m moved to a quieter room!
