Thanksgiving Day aboard the Majestic Princess was supposed to be a relaxing celebration filled with great food, family, laughs, and holiday memories. Instead… I think Dee SET ME UP! 😂 After spending a long and eventful day exploring St. Thomas, we finally made our way back onboard the Majestic Princess and settled in for Thanksgiving evening. And if you've been following our family cruise adventures, you already know that when Phil and Dee are together, there's always going to be plenty of jokes, teasing, laughter, and foolishness! But Thanksgiving dinner took things to another level. We were excited to see how Princess Cruises celebrates Thanksgiving, and we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible holiday menu they put together. The dining room was filled with traditional Thanksgiving favorites, including turkey, pumpkin dishes, and many of the classic foods we all look forward to during the holidays. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were enjoying our Thanksgiving dinner as a family. Then... 💩 LAIA HAD A BLOWOUT! Right in the middle of dinner. And guess who Dee sent to take care of it? ME. So I leave our Thanksgiving dinner, handle the diaper situation, and return to the table thinking I can finally sit down and enjoy the rest of my meal. WRONG. Not long after I get back... PJ NEEDS TO GO TO THE BATHROOM TOO! At this point, I started getting suspicious. 😂 How in the world do BOTH of our kids suddenly need to poop during Thanksgiving dinner?! I started thinking Dee had something to do with this. 😂 Did Dee secretly put something in Laiah's bottle? Did she do something to PJ too? I'm just saying...the timing was VERY suspicious! 😂 After all of that chaos, we finally managed to finish our Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy what turned out to be a fantastic meal. But the night wasn't over. We dropped PJ off at the kids club and headed out to catch one of the most talked-about shows aboard the Majestic Princess—a special Prince tribute performance. We had heard so much hype about this show and were really looking forward to seeing it. Unfortunately... WE DID NOT FEEL THE HYPE. The music, the performer, and the overall production just didn't do it for us. In our honest opinion, the performance fell short of what we expected from a tribute to such an iconic artist. And that's one thing you're always going to get from Phil & Dee Travels: OUR HONEST OPINION. Even when our opinion isn't the same as everyone else's. After the Prince tribute, we went to check out a comedic magic show before eventually realizing that our two little ones were ready to call it a night. So we headed back to the cabin, got the kids settled down, and finally called it a night. Looking back, Thanksgiving aboard the Majestic Princess had EVERYTHING: 🦃 Amazing Thanksgiving food 😂 Husband-and-wife jokes 💩 A diaper blowout 🚽 A surprise bathroom trip 🤣 Plenty of family foolishness 🎶 A Prince tribute show 🎩 A comedic magic show 👨👩👧👦 Family time ❤️ Unforgettable memories It wasn't perfect. It wasn't necessarily what we expected. But it was OUR Thanksgiving, and we wouldn't trade those memories for anything. This is what family cruising is all about—sometimes the moments that don't go according to plan become the stories you remember and laugh about years later.
