🌴🚢 **ONLY 90 MINUTES IN NASSAU, BAHAMAS?!** 🚢🌴 Welcome back to Phil & Dee Travels! This week, our Norwegian Getaway cruise takes us to our first port of call: **Nassau, Bahamas!** 🇧🇸 But there's one BIG problem… we barely have any time to explore! After hearing so much about Nassau, we were excited to get off the ship, experience the port, grab some food and drinks, do a little shopping, and enjoy a family adventure in the Bahamas. Unfortunately, we quickly realized that we had only **90 MINUTES to explore Nassau** before it was time to head back to Norwegian Getaway! 🍔 **FIRST STOP: LUNCH ON NORWEGIAN GETAWAY** Before heading ashore, we grab lunch at The American Diner, one of the included dining options onboard Norwegian Getaway. The food surprises us with how good it tastes, and being able to order as much as we want is a nice part of Norwegian's Freestyle Cruising experience! 🌴 **90 MINUTES TO EXPLORE NASSAU, BAHAMAS!** Once we disembark, the clock is ticking. With no time for excursions or an extended beach day, we have to make the most of the little time available. We grab a couple of drinks, do a little shopping, and even purchase a couple of cigars from a street vendor. We weren't entirely sure whether they were exactly what they were labeled as, but they turned out to be a surprisingly good smoke! Then we decide to visit an old friend we always look forward to seeing at **Señor Frog's Nassau** — Richard! Unfortunately, Richard isn't working that day, so we take a few family pictures and prepare to head back to the ship. It wasn't the Nassau experience we had pictured, and we definitely left feeling a little disappointed.
