Step inside our Carnival Encounter obstructed balcony cabin for a full tour and honest review. This cabin surprised us with one of the best balconies we’ve ever had — huge, shaded, private, and technically “obstructed”… but the obstruction is a walkway below the railing, so the view is barely affected. But there’s a BIG but. This cabin sits directly above the theatre, which means you’ll hear the shows at night and even the rehearsal sessions during the day. One morning we were woken up at 8:30am by vibrations coming through the floor. If you’re sensitive to noise, this is something you absolutely need to know before booking.
