I booked a “sheltered balcony” balcony cabin on P&O Iona (Cabin 5439) expecting an outdoor space… but what I got was very different! This cabin is marketed as a “sheltered balcony”, however there is no mention in P&O’s description that a storm door can completely close off the balcony. On my December cruise, this door was closed for more than half of the trip, meaning I paid extra for a balcony that I couldn’t even step onto for 8 out of 14 days. In this video, I give you a full tour of P&O Iona cabin 5439, explain exactly what happened, and share whether I think this type of balcony cabin is worth booking. If you’re considering a balcony cabin on P&O Iona, this is something you really need to know before you book! #POIona #POCruises #BalconyCabin #CruiseCabinTour #CruiseReview #CruiseTips #CruiseAdvice #CruiseFail #ShelteredBalcony #WinterCruise #UKCruise #HonestReview
