Rome Cruise Port 🇮🇹 | From Civitavecchia to the Colosseum & Vatican
Rome cruise port was one of the highlights of our 113-day European cruise aboard Sky Princess. Our ship docked in Civitavecchia, the cruise port for Rome, and we spent our port day exploring some of the most famous sights in the Eternal City. Come along with us as we explore Rome, including Vatican City, St. Peter's Square, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Along the way, we discover incredible fountains, ancient Roman ruins, historic churches, beautiful piazzas and some of the details that can be easy to miss when visiting Rome. We visit Castel Sant'Angelo, Ponte Sant'Angelo, Trinità dei Monti, the Vatican Obelisk, Sant'Anna dei Palafrenieri, the Altare della Patria, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, along with many other sights throughout the city. One of our favorite things about exploring Rome is that you don't have to go looking for history — it's everywhere you turn. This video is part of our 113-day European cruise aboard Sky Princess, where we spent four months traveling through Europe and exploring the ports along the way. If you're planning a Rome cruise port stop from Civitavecchia, we hope this video gives you some ideas for what you can see and experience during your day in Rome. 🇮🇹 About WanderFree Retirees We're Ed & Mai, early retirees who sold our home and set out to travel the world.
