TOULON FRANCE 🇫🇷 | Easy and Affordable Way to Explore!
Toulon France cruise port can be an easy and affordable port to explore on your own — and that’s exactly what we did. Instead of booking an expensive cruise excursion, we used the local ferry from La Seyne-sur-Mer to Toulon and spent the day exploring the city ourselves. In this video, we’ll show you how we got into Toulon, what we found along the way, and some of the highlights of this beautiful French Mediterranean cruise port. Our ship docked in La Seyne-sur-Mer, across the harbor from Toulon. Rather than paying for the cruise-line shuttle, we took the local Réseau Mistral ferry across the harbor for about €2 each way. Once we arrived in Toulon, we explored the city on foot, including: • Cours Lafayette Market • Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-la-Seds • Toulon’s historic streets • Street art and hidden corners • The waterfront and harbor • Local restaurants and cafés This was a great example of how you don’t necessarily need an expensive cruise excursion to have a great day in port. If you’re visiting Toulon on a cruise, we hope this video helps you plan your own day!
