Florence & Pisa in One Day 🇮🇹 | Our Amazing Shore Excursion From Livorno
Come along with us as we explore Florence and Pisa, Italy, on a full-day shore excursion from the cruise port of Livorno! 🇮🇹 This was one of those cruise days where we wanted to see as much as possible, and this excursion gave us the opportunity to experience two of Tuscany's most famous cities in one day. In Florence, we walk through the historic center and see some incredible landmarks, including Piazza Santa Maria Novella, Palazzo Strozzi, Piazza della Repubblica, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, the Loggia dei Lanzi, the Fountain of Neptune, the Duomo, the Baptistery of San Giovanni, and more. Then we head to Pisa and make our way through the historic city walls into the spectacular Piazza dei Miracoli — the Square of Miracles. And of course, we get our first look at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, along with the Cathedral, Baptistery and Camposanto Monumentale. The Piazza dei Miracoli is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains four major medieval monuments: the Cathedral, Baptistery, Leaning Tower and Camposanto. One of the things we really enjoyed about this excursion was having free time to explore on our own, rather than being with a guide every minute.
